Dr. Majd El-Harasis presented data at the American Heart Association’s Strategically Focused Research Network Symposium. These Research Networks are designed to bring scientists together to address key strategic issues determined by the AHA Board of Directors.
Vanderbilt is proud to have received funding from the AHA for many Strategically Focused Research Network grants, including the Atrial Fibrillation and Arrhythmias & Sudden Cardiac Death networks. Dr. El-Harasis represented the AFib Precision Medicine team when he presented on biomarkers that can help predict the risk of recurrence after atrial fibrillation ablation.
