The Vanderbilt Atrial Fibrillation Precision Medicine Research team is honored that our article, “Early-onset atrial fibrillation and the prevalence of rare variants in cardiomyopathy and arrhythmia genes,” was selected for an editorial from Dr. Gordon Tomaselli and Dr. Megan Roy-Puckelwartz.
The team appreciates Drs. Tomaselli and Roy-Puckelwartz' support for consideration of genetic testing in the early-onset AFib population and the potential clinical benefit to patients and their families. As we learn more about how genetics contributes to the development and progression of AFib, we hope to further define how and when genetic testing could be used.
