Luke Laws, MD, is a senior cardiovascular medicine fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center who is training for a career as a physician scientist with a clinical/research program focused on cardiovascular genetics and cardiac imaging.
In 2022, he authored a manuscript “Arrhythmias as a Presentation of Genetic Cardiomyopathy” published in Circulation Research. He currently is finishing his cardiovascular medicine training and sees patients in the AF Precision Medicine Clinic under the supervision of Drs. Ben Shoemaker and Zach Yoneda. He is also enrolled in Vanderbilt’s Master of Science in Clinical Investigation program, receiving advanced training in cardiac imaging, and participating in the AF Genetics Consortium’s virtual research fellowship program. He is funded by an NIH T32 award to Vanderbilt.
