MedPage Today highlighted a recent study published by Dr. Cecilia P. Chung and colleagues. Their article showed that rates of resistant hypertension were doubled among patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), which increased their mortality risks substantially. The retrospective study was based on data from Vanderbilt Medical Center.
