Sally Monahan, M.D.

Brief Description

Dr. Sally Monahan, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, joined Vanderbilt in the Division of Dermatology in September 2015. Her primary focus is on general and medical dermatology in both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Monahan completed undergraduate school at Mississippi State University where she graduated summa cum laude. She attended medical school at the University of Mississippi where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, earning her MD and graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Monahan completed a residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She then went on to complete a three-year dermatology residency, also at Vanderbilt. Dr. Monahan is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
