Neilson Society Leadership

The Neilson Society is coordinated by Mark de Caestecker who reports directly the Vice Chair for Professional Development, who oversees all clinical and non-clinical faculty development activities across the DOM, and to the Chair of Medicine. The Vice Chair is supported by three co-directors, DOM faculty members who have been recently promoted and help coordinate society activities; advisors from the Department of Medicine who have coordinate feeder programs through the Vanderbilt Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) and Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP); and a Steering Committee, comprising Neilson Society representatives from all of the Divisions within the DOM.
