Professional bio
Dr. Brittany Saldivar Murphy is a clinical Cardiovascular Disease Fellow. She earned her medical degree at the University of Florida and completed Internal Medicine Residency at Vanderbilt. Dr. Murphy has worked with Dr. Ben Shoemaker since 2021 and her research is focused on developing statistical models to predict which patients with early-onset AF are likely to have positive genetic testing.
She was a competition winner at the Tennessee American College of Cardiology conference and a finalist for the Elliot V. Newman Prize at the Vanderbilt Annual Research Forum for an abstract of this work. Abstracts have also been presented at local and national American College of Cardiology showcases.
