Joseph Quintana, MD

Joseph Quintana, MD, is a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He attended medical school at the University of Miami and came to Vanderbilt in 2019 for Internal Medicine Residency. He served as Chief Medicine Resident from 2022-2023 prior to starting cardiovascular medicine fellowship. 

Dr. Quintant has worked with Dr. Ben Shoemaker since 2019 and his research is focused on studying the cardiac phenotype of patients with early-onset AF associated with pathogenic variants in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy genes such as MYH7 and MYBPC3. He plans to pursue subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology.
