Pro-social Power Training Activity for Aging and Well-being with Chronic Kidney Disease: PACT to AGE WELL with CKD

Aims:
- Develop and pilot test a novel, behavioral science-informed, power-training program to improve gait speed and reduce frailty risk for older veterans with advanced chronic kidney disease and multimorbidity
- Explore novel biomarkers that predict intervention response and may explain differences in frailty risk

Aims:
Identify modifiable, psychosocial factors associated with sedentary behavior among older adults with chronic kidney disease
Explore multidisciplinary healthcare providers’ recommendations on how to develop and implement a novel model of person-centered ambulatory care tailored to the aging kidney disease population.
