Dr. Jane E. Freedman is the Division Director of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She graduated from Yale University, Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed residency and cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, respectively. Dr. Freedman has received young investigator awards from both the AHA and the ACC, was been elected to the A.S.C.I. and the A.U.C. She is a past Associate and Senior Editor for Circulation and is the incoming Editor-in-Chief for Circulation Research.
