Why I choose VUMC: I felt that VUMC had everything I was looking for in a fellowship program in terms of both solid clinical training and research mentorship, with the ability to do high-level projects right off the bat. In addition, I felt like the faculty supported the fellows and made every effort to go above and beyond for education whenever possible. Finally, Nashville seemed like a great city for my training in with the amazing food, music, and neverending list of things to explore.
