Peter Weeke, MD, PhD

Peter Weeke was a Research Fellow with an interest in pharmacogenetics and personalized medicine. His ongoing projects aimed to delineate the genetic basis of adverse drug events such as drug induced long QT syndrome and Torsades des pointes using next-generation sequencing methods. (At the end of his fellowship Dr. Weeke returned to the University of Copenhagen to continue his research at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research)
