Lisa Bastarache, MS, is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is responsible for the development and implementation of new PheWAS and phenotyping methods. She has training in computer science and computational linguistics, over 10 years of programming experience, and a degree in mathematics from the University of Chicago.
