Mackenzie McKinnon graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is working with Cathy Xu in the Haake Cancer Lab to explore the role of integrins and extracellular matrix signaling during the development, progression and metastasis of carcinomas with a particular on kidney cancer.
