Professional bio
Carolina Ramirez-Becerra, MD, is a Research Fellow in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her work with the lab of Dr. Michelle Ormseth focuses on the relationship between the microbiome, sRNAome, and treatment response in RA. Dr. Ramirez-Becerra earned her MD at Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro in 2018. She completed internal medicine residency at Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) in 2021 and completed a fellowship in rheumatology there in 2023.
