Phicharmon Kulapatana Earn, MD

Phicharmon Kulapatana Earn, MD, is a clinical/translational research coordinator in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. 

She was formerly a pediatric surgeon before moving to Nashville in 2023 when her husband got an offer to study for a PhD at Vanderbilt. She stepped into the world of rheumatology  research and joined the lab of Dr. Michelle Ormseth in 2024. 

Her passion and focus changed from congenital conditions to the mysteries of autoimmune diseases, especially SLE and RA, and spending time recruiting subjects and keeping up with study protocols instead of operational procedures.
