Megan grew up all over the U.S, living in Florida, Utah, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. After studying biology and mathematics at Lafayette College and taking some detours to live in Denmark and France, she ended up at Mount Sinai in NYC. There she completed an MD/PhD, conducting computational cardiovascular research with a focus on drug-induced arrhythmia. One of her favorite experiences during her time at Sinai was teaching nutrition to middle schoolers using an experiment-based curriculum. She plans to use her experiences in research and nutrition education to the benefit of her patients with cardiovascular disease.
