Sameer Chopra, MD, PhD

Sameer joined the Roden lab in 2002 as a graduate student in the MD, PhD program at Vanderbilt University. His thesis work focused on the function of sodium channel subunits in zebrafish development and electrophysiology. He successfully defended in late 2007 and later received his medical degree in 2009. Dr. Chopra is currently an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a medical oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
