Agnes Gorska, M.Sc., came to Vanderbilt in 1990 from Poland where she earned M.Sc. in Cell Biology from Warsaw University. She joined Dr. Savona in 2015 shortly after his recruitment to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

She joined with extensive experience gained while working with VICC Director Emeritus, Dr. Harold (Hal) L. Moses, which resulted in first authorship of two, and co-authorship of 36 publications. Her current focus in the Savona Laboratory is on developmental therapeutics in myeloid disease where she contributes to the multiple laboratory projects with her expertise in FACS, immunohistochemistry, and PDX transplantation. She also serves as the manager of the lab and prides herself on her role in training students/new lab members.
