We are deeply committed to improving cardiovascular health for all humans through high-quality, impactful research and training future cardiovascular researchers.
Our Mission
To advance cardiovascular health through innovative translational and clinical research.
The VTRACC Approach
We are a multidisciplinary group of investigators and research support personnel whose purpose is to accelerate high-quality innovative research. Our core philosophy is that together we achieve more, faster, and with greater impact, through collaborative sharing of ideas and resources.
Key Research Areas
Our portfolio of research spans the breadth of cardiovascular disease, its risk factors and associated conditions.
Our team leads bedside-to-bench research, translates preclinical findings and accelerates early human results to broader populations.
We utilize a variety of methods including human physiologic studies and clinical trials, observational cohort studies, big data from health systems and consortiums, multi-omics, multi-modality non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, and many more.
