Kathy Adams, RN, CCRP, is a Research Nurse with the Vanderbilt Translational and Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center. Her research focuses on transcatheter mitral valve repair as well as replacement in the clinical setting.
She been the lead research nurse coordinator on trials related to interventional devices such as stents and ASD devices. She has also coordinated heart failure trials as well as electrophysiology device trials specifically related atrial fibrillation/flutter ablation. Her primary current focus involves percutaneous mitral valve repair and replacement trials focusing on mitral regurgitation and to a lesser degree, mitral stenosis.
