Shi Huang, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. 

Dr. Huang's research interests include: latent variable modeling, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), mediation analysis, application of advanced statistical methodology for prevention research on substance use and HIV risk behavior. He also has expertise in longitudinal data analysis, hierarchical linear models and is proficient with Mplus statistical software. He has served on a number of NIH and CDC-funded studies focused on substance abuse and HIV prevention (totaling approximately $10 million).
