Jabári Ichimura is a Clinical Translational Research Coordinator III in the Office for Community Health & Engagement - Wilkins Research Lab. Ichimura started his career at VUMC with the Vanderbilt -Ingram Cancer Center before joining the Wilkins Research Lab.
He supports research operations and infrastructures focused on community-based participatory research, trust in healthcare, patient-centered research, recruitment and retention innovations, and engagement science.
Ichimura has a background in clinical research, social/behavioral research, community engagement, nutrition and food science, and direct patient care. What Jabári enjoys most about his role on the Wilkins Research Lab team is his position to listen and advocate on behalf of various communities in research.
