Professional bio

Justin Farry earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2016. He then worked in Dr. Joseph Woo's lab at Stanford University before joining the Woodard lab in August 2020. His previous work has involved cardiac regeneration and therapeutic biomaterials. Farry is interested in engineering strategies to regenerate the kidney following acute injury and chronic disease. He has experience with stem cell culture, mouse work, small animal surgical techniques, microscopy, and organoid differentiation.

Farry has co-authored over twenty publications including works in Nature Biomedical Engineering, Science Advances, and Cell.
