Shubham Tomar, MBBS, MPH, is a Research Fellow in the lab of Dr. Andrew DeFilippis and the Vanderbilt Translational and Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Tomar is a dedicated physician and a passionate researcher with a master's degree in public health. His research is primarily focused on Myocardial Infarction (MI), and the adjudication of MI cases in the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA). His research focuses on MI and its classification based on 4th Universal Definition of MI. He is also deeply involved in the biostatistical analysis of data within this study. With his prior experience working on tuberculosis and solid organ malignancy, he brings a rich tapestry of knowledge and expertise to the table.
