Gulmira Yermakhanova, MD, MPH, coordinates a pleural disease biorepository by identifying, recruiting, consenting study participants, collecting, processing, and storing pleural fluid/biopsy specimens. She creates and manages research databases and prepares datasets. She coordinates regulatory documentation for IRB compliance, including submissions, continuing reviews, amendments, and reports, as well as prepares and submits data user agreement/material transfer agreement for multi-center studies and coordinate the approval processes.
