Professional bio
Alyssa is originally from Omaha, Neb., and she received her dual Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology at Valparaiso University in Indiana. Her work investigates the impact of infection-driven inflammation on promoting TET2-mediated clonal expansion, as well as how innate immune memory may be impacted by TET2 loss during pathogenic insult. Outside of the lab, she enjoys sewing, baking, and spending time with family and her pets.
