AUS-SCAR
The Australasian Registry for Severe Cutaneous Adverse Reactions (AUS-SCAR) focuses on collecting data and biorepository samples that will facilitate new insights into the prevention and treatment of SCARs.
AUS-SCAR is focused on:
- Collecting data from patients with SCARs who represent the Australian population.
- Gathering data from eligible patients in New Zealand and parts of Asia.
- Including biorepository and DNA samples in the collected data.
- Embedding studies into standards of care to assess methods that improve patient outcomes.
- Ensuring collected data contributes to the study of genes, or genomics, improving prediction, diagnosis, and treatment of SCARS.
