Melissa Bloodworth, MD, PhD

Melissa grew up in St. Louis, MO and attended Notre Dame where she majored in biological sciences and minored in theology. She then joined Vanderbilt's MD/PhD program, where she studied the regulation of immune responses during airway inflammation in Stokes Peebles' lab. Melissa has enjoyed being a part of Vanderbilt's Harrison Society. She is now training as a clinical fellow in allergy & immunology in the Department of Medicine. Her scientific interests focus on modulating the immune response during allergic disease.
