The Dermatologic Surgery Clinic provides patient care addressing most aspects of skin surgery and cosmetic dermatology.

Mohs Micrographic Surgery Unit:

The Mohs Micrographic Surgery Unit provides outpatient removal of non-melanoma skin cancers utilizing the Mohs technique of micrographically controlled surgery. Mohs Micrographic Surgery is a procedure for the removal of skin cancers utilizing serial excision and microscopic control with the use of horizontal frozen sections. Mohs Micrographic Surgery offers the dual benefits of high long-term cure rates and tissue conservation. The Mohs Micrographic Surgery Unit will provide consultative services on all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer. [ Mohs Micrographic Surgery ]

The Mohs Micrographic Surgery Unit at Vanderbilt is also the site of a post-residency fellowship program approved by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and is an ACGME accredited program. Further information about the fellowship may be found here.
