The faculty of the Department of Dermatology command a broad range of clinical and research expertise. These include Medical Dermatology, Dermatological Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Laser Medicine, and Cosmetic Dermatological Surgery. Medical research interests include clinical studies of wound healing and applications of extracorporeal photopheresis to cutaneous lymphomas, autoimmune disorders and transplant rejection syndromes. Basic research interests include studies of connective tissue remodeling, wound repair, cytokines and signal transduction, and mouse models of skin diseases.
