Proper Prescribing of Controlled Prescription Drugs

This training program was designed to enhance healthcare providers' understanding of the controlled prescription epidemic and proper prescribing practices for the individual and their office practices. This evidence-based medicine program will increase awareness, stimulate self-reflection and trigger areas for change. There are seven modules in this training program. We suggest you do all modules in order, but you may do any module you like and, in any order, based on your needs. Each module has a pre/post-test and self-assessment and application activities within the module. Resources are provided within each module to further enhance your learning.

Each module takes between 25 and 60 minutes to complete. CME credit is available for those who complete the pre/post-tests and an online evaluation form. Information on claiming CME credits are within each module. Click on the link below for instructions to register for CME credits.
