The Center for Professional Health (CPH) is located at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in Nashville, Tennessee. CPH is part of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health. The VUMC Faculty Wellness Committee is located within CPH and is chaired by Dr. Charlene Dewey.

The Center for Professional Health focuses on healthcare providers and their well-being, both preventative through programs and retreats at the Center for Health and Wellness and remediative through CME courses at the Swiggart Section for Professional Development. All courses, programs, retreats, and coaching are grounded in the belief that with proper training, knowledge, tools, and practice, healthcare providers can prevent and overcome burnout, distress, and the negative effects that result from them. With new self-awareness, tools, and practice, healthcare providers can improve work relationships, communicate more effectively, and find deeper joy in their work.
