Aisha Suara-Istanbouli, MD

Aisha Suara-Istanbouli, MD, is a PGY-4 Med/Peds Resident in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Originally from Bolivar, Tennessee, she attended Harvard University where she studied chemistry with a minor in African Studies. During college, she explored her interests in community health, as well as in music, martial arts, and intramural sports. She attended Vanderbilt School of Medicine where she was active in volunteering at Shade Tree Clinic. It was during this time that she solidified her desire to work in primary care, medical education, and advocacy.
