Sara Reiss, MS

Sara Reiss, MS, is a Senior Research Specialist at the Center for Asthma Research and the Hartert Lab Manager. She came to Vanderbilt in 2001 to join the inaugural class of the Laboratory Investigation Master’s Degree program and earned her M.S. in Laboratory Investigation. She worked in Pediatric Genetics before coming to the Center for Asthma Research in 2010. She left the Center in 2016 but returned in 2021.

Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Reiss graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a B.S. in InVitro Cell Biology and Biotechnology. After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh, she worked in the production lab and technical support at Upstate Biotechnology in Lake Placid, New York.
