Professional bio
Steven Brunwasser, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Rowan University and and and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
His research focus areas include: prevention science, perinatal mental health, depression in adolescence and emerging adulthood, developmental origins of health and disease, pediatric asthma, and integrative mental health care.
He received his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychology & Human Development at Vanderbilt University. His overarching career goal is to contribute to research and clinical efforts that reduce the burden of depression on individuals and society.
