Kim Jones MSN, APRN, PMHNP, BC, FNP, BC has been an Advanced Practice Nurse for almost 30 years. She worked in both hospital and office settings as a RN before beginning her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and has worked in rural health, nonprofit/FQHC, retail clinic, and primary care settings with both children and adults.

Jones completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois in 1995 and her Post Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt School of Nursing in 2013. She currently practices as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in both private practice and community mental health settings. Kim has taught Advance Practice Nursing students in the past at Mennonite College of Nursing and has also served as a clinical preceptor for over 25 years in Illinois and Tennessee.

Jones is a member of the course faculty for "Maintaining Professional Boundaries" at the Center for Professional Health.
