Leah Bowen, MSN, APRN, PMHNP, BC, has worked as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years in community mental health clinics, Metro Nashville Public Schools, and in private practice with children and adults. Bowen completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt. She worked at Vanderbilt for 14 years between the Department of Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent division and the School of Nursing where she taught and precepted Advanced Practice Nursing students. Currently she works in private practice at The Nashville Center for Hope & Healing. She specializes in judicious psychopharmacology, working closely with patients in their pursuit of emotional wellness.
Bowen is a member of the course faculty of "Proper Prescribing of Controlled Substances" and the APRN Program at the Center for Professional Health.
